Elevate your floristry skills with this intensive, one day 'impact' flowers workshop; using lots of wonderful fresh seasonal flowers and foliage from Pulvertoft Flowers. Your day will start with a tour of the flower farm which Fiona, of Pulvertoft Flowers, will lead. We will then move into the workshop where we will talk about sustainable techniques and mechanics behind creating larger scale impactful arrangements. The it's time for your to work as a team under our guidance to create a broken floral arch and a large hanging, overhead installation. Finally we will add the finishing styling opportunities, allowing you some time to take some photos. Lunch and refreshments provided.

Our floral design courses are held here at the Wheathampstead flower farm and at the Welwyn studio, in the cosy flower studio. We also collaborate with a number of partners, florists and farmers, always keeping our workshops varied and educational. You will have the freedom to create from a palette that suits you. The flowers will be varied with a whole host of different colours and styles to choose from.
We will demonstrate a natural style to floristry, using sustainable mechanics when needed to create your arrangements. We will talk about cutting conditions and foraging flowers to create your own wonderful design, whether that be a bowl arrangement, hand-tied flower bouquet, flower crown or your own personal bridal bouquet. All creations will be unique.
